WP Umbrella × Patchstack Rooftop Party at WordCamp Europe 2026 (+Gallery)

On 5 June 2026, during WordCamp Europe, more than 200 members of the WordPress community gathered at the WCEU Rooftop Party, co-organized by WP Umbrella and Patchstack.

It was the first time we teamed up on event organization, but our product partnership goes way back, with Patchstack powering WP Umbrella’s built-in security features.

A rooftop evening in Krakow

Hosted at Groble Skybar Lounge in Krakow, the evening offered a change of pace from conference talks and sponsor booths – replacing packed schedules with rooftop views, food, drinks, and the kind of conversations that usually happen after the day officially ends.

People joined from all over the world – including many who have supported, challenged, partnered with, and helped shape WP Umbrella over the years.

A surprise from Patchstack

Patchstack also had a special surprise for everyone there. They brought a professional tattoo artist – which means that for a small group of attendees, WCEU 2026 became slightly more permanent than expected.

A huge thank you to everyone who spent their Saturday evening with us! And to everyone who signed up but couldn’t attend: we owe you an apology.

Interest in the event went far beyond what the venue could accommodate, and many registrations had to remain unconfirmed because of guest limits. Seeing that level of interest was incredible… but turning people away wasn’t.

We’ll take that lesson into whatever comes next.
